Dynamis’ corporate culture is predicated on serving our employees, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, and enabling them to achieve their career and professional development goals. We focus on hiring quality, and putting the right people in the right place at the right time. Above all, we emphasize personal integrity and business ethics as the foundation for all that we do for our customers. We are realistic; we focus on our clients’ missions, manage challenging problems, and—as practical theorists—blend academic excellence with extensive operational experience. We are easy going in that we support our customers’ requirements but do not “fight the scenarios” we’re presented. Above all else, Dynamis is dedicated to our people. We hire for character and train for skill. We believe that by taking care of our employees, they will in turn take care of our customers. Dynamis created the School of Athens as our forum for employee learning and professional development. Most of the sessions are taught by employees, and the focus is to provide Dynamites with an outlet to share knowledge with each other and enhance their professional growth. The five major learning areas are: Corporate Goals and Values, Business Development, Management, Technical Skills, and Practical Skills.

Dynamis has also started an Employee Mentoring Program whereby employees can volunteer to serve as mentors and interested employees can request to be paired with specific mentors based on areas of interest. We also offer group mentoring sessions led by Dynamis leadership.

Dynamis recognizes the achievements of its employees through a variety of reward and bonus programs. We offer Spot Bonuses throughout the year for those employees who have gone above and beyond in service to their customers, demonstrated outstanding achievements in their work, and been recognized by their customers and/or management. We also offer Annual Bonuses at the end of the year for those employees who have substantially contributed to the company’s overall growth, as well as business and corporate development activities.

Dynamis has also instituted a very successful Employee Referral Program that provides monetary rewards for our employees who refer qualified, successful candidates for vacant positions.

Finally, Dynamis recognizes the importance of corporate social responsibility and places a strong emphasis on giving back to professional and civic communities. We are proud to be actively involved with the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), volunteering at many events throughout the year, including food drives and most recently, sponsoring two teams at their annual 5K. Staff from at all levels participate in these events. We also participate in events with DC Central Kitchen and the Travis Manion Foundation. In the past, we have been big generous supporters to the non-profit organization, Autism Speaks, and participate in their walk annually as a company in DC. We also support our employees that serve as volunteer firefighters by donating to their fire departments (Manassas, Prince William County) and sponsoring at their fundraising events. We recently became members of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, knowing our membership would provide us with access to events and local businesses that will allow us to expand our community engagement.
