Dynamis supports documentary highlighting Plum Island conservation efforts

Dynamis’ Jason Golden serves as the Public Affairs Officer at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC), a DHS laboratory charged with keeping the nation’s food supply secure from the accidental or intentional introduction of foreign animal diseases that could severely threaten livestock industries, food security and our economy. Jason supported the filming of the Visionaries production of “Conservation on a Small Island” as the public relations lead and subject matter expert on the history and geography of the island.

This short documentary, which highlights the efforts of several conservation organizations to keep Plum Island from being sold at a public auction once the mission of PIADC is moved to Kansas in 2024, is expected to air on PBS during the upcoming fall and winter seasons.
