Sumita Langhnoja was one of Dynamis’ first employees, joining the company in 2008. She has a background as a knowledge management analyst and supported Dynamis’ first contract at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center. She is a Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) who has worked closely with government personnel at several agencies, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), NASA, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). She has coordinated a number of large events, both for the government and for the private sector. She served as the Logistics Section Chief for the 2014 FEMA National Level Exercise, which was multi-day interagency event. During this event, she supported FEMA’s National Exercise Division (NED) with the planning, design, development, coordination, communication, conduct, and evaluation of the exercise.
Capitalizing on her strong interpersonal and organizational skills, Sumita has since transitioned to the Director of Dynamis’ Human Capital department. Within her role, she oversees human resources, recruiting, facility security, and office management. She has also earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification which gives her the knowledge and experience to support the company with human resource management.
A true Marylander at heart, Sumita was born, raised in Maryland, and attended the University of Maryland, College Park. Go Terps! New to motherhood, she is learning to juggle her family at home and her Dynamite family at the office.
